This was a cowrite with the Lynch Pins from a few years back. First verse was about some neighbors in Iowa who had the darkest, saddest vibe coming from their house, combined with a band assignment to write about beating a dead horse. I sent it to the Pins, and TJ sent this back to me with the bridge section tacked on. An interesting artifact of that kind of patchwork collaboration.

Lonely town, lonely town
Hear the taillights breaking down
Heard it twice, heard it twice
Every time it’s another round

I like it. I like it. I like the way you sing. It makes me feel lonely, but good about it. Now, to do some catching up. I heard you just picked up a blog gig!
You too Ray. I hear we’ll be making bank over on the RFB blog, looking forward to it.
one my favorite collaborations, Scotty. Loved hearing all your other creations as well.
