I am a generalist by nature. I grew up working on a small family dairy before attending the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. My professional background is diverse and includes Braille sign design and manufacture, publishing administration and royalty accounting at a boutique music agency, website management, data analysis, graphic design, public transportation, baking and pastry making (in four states), and graveyard shifts at an urban convenience store.
After hours I am a songwriter and musician. I've played in Bay Area bands 100 Watt Smile, The Mighty Lynch-Pins, The Verms and many others as well as groups in the NH Seacoast Region such as Umbrellahead and early editions of the Jumbo Circus Peanuts and Thanks to Gravity. In recent years I've returned to my love of songwriting and in February 2020 I released Sugar Gas, my fifth collection of songs since 2015.
I'm a Linux enthusiast and create all my music on that platform.
